This year I took the plunge, mounted some photos, and entered them in the Oklahoma State Fair. I was excited at first and then really super nervous about putting my stuff out there. I mean, I feel like I take decent photos, but I don’t think I do anything astounding and being humiliated is the worst feeling in the world. So it was a leap for me.
Surprise though! I ended up with two Honorable Mention ribbons this year. That makes me feel pretty good considering this was my first year.
